Obviously, asanas and pranayama alone are not going to help comprehensively. You need to change your life style, diet, and your attitude.

Life style should be early to rise in the morning and early to go to bed at night, avoidance of beverage product, following the yama and niyama - personal conduct and social conduct, surrendering to God.

Diet should always be sattvic - fresh, and vegetarian - easy to digest. It should not be non-vegetarian. Alcohol should be strictly prohibited.

Attitude should always positive. If your attitude is negative, the energy you generate through your sadhana - asanas, pranayama and meditation will go in that negative direction. So beware of negative attitude, negative thoughts otherwise, you will not be benefited.

Once you develop interest in yoga, dietary habits automatically change.Avoid soda artificial sweetener drinks, nothing to eat before yoga class may be cup of tea if possible.Eat less spices, yougurt is good, chichi with lesser ghee is helpful. Most of all thinking positive helps the most.Relaxation adds peace and carbohydrates cut down from diet is wonderful.Blessings
