Dear Mr. Rags,

I appreciate your question. Yoga can be helpful in bodybuilding as well as for recovering and refreshing. However, I may inform that asanas are not for developing body mass. Resistance only develops (as in bodybuilding weight bearing exercises) the shape of muscls and yogasanas does not have resistance exercises. Yoga can help in body building to reduce lactic acid which is generated during body building exercises. After body building resistance exercises, one can perform relaxative postures and exercise their technique to reduce the tone of muscls which we usually become adapted to while doing body building exercises or other sports. So, you can develop the body as illustrated by adopting both systems isometric as well as isotonic.

I hope I have been able to answer your question satisfactorily, in case you need more clarifications, please feel free to write here over comments.
