I cannot comment on this as I do not know what tea pot you are referring. No doubt, tea pot you may be referring to has similar structure as that of neti pot. I do not recommend. However, you can try with the tea pot after ensuring the the size of the nozzle should be such that it can enter the nostrils and the edges of the nozzle should be smooth and should not cause cut the interior of nostrils.
