Yes, you can do yoga in evening also that may include yogasana, pranayama (deep breathing and naadhi shudhi pranayama), alongwith progressive relaxation (step by step or part by part relaxation of the body). Ensure that this evening session should be after 4 hours or meal or you should be empty stomach during this session.
In morning session after surya namaskar, you can practice ardhmatsyendrasana, vakrasana, kurmasana (forward bending in vajarasana), yogamudrasana, followed by bhujangasana for diabetes. Thereafter, follow the naadhi shuddhi pranayama.
Meditation and/ or visualisation with positive autosuggestions that should be correspond to your life targets as well as health, is/are quite effective in night session. Sit in vajarasan or sukhasan or padmasan if it is convenient for the night session and do meditation / visualisation (visualize what you want in future) and exploit the magical powers of your mind for your health and other targets.
