Hi there, I've played tennis and cricket my whole life, which has caused a big imbalance in my back muscles. My right (dominant) side is noticeably larger, and my left side is noticeably smaller and weaker. What can I do to develop strength specifically in the left side of my back? Thanks for any advice or pointers in the right direction! David

Generally, the sport coaches focus on neutralising the imbalance caused by one sided over use of the limbs.

However you can use yogic exercises to counter the imbalance.

Tadasana, tirayak tadasana, katichakarasana, bhujangasana, shalabhasana, chakrasana would help you in strengthening back muscles. Allow relaxation with makrasana or shashankasana after each asanas.
