Sure, when you do pranayama sincerely and regularly, the body and mind is purified and the awareness/ consciousness as well as the kundalini energy is elevated because of activation of certain chakras. So, you must be feeling power at navel or lower back region near chakras not in physical body but in your subtle body made up of pranic channels and chakras.
At this time, it is better to purify more of your body. So, take sattvic diet and do shatkarmas (if it is possible) for free flow of pranas. Adopt celibacy and nurture pure and positive thoughts that should elevate your consciousness towards your self consciousness, i.e. soul and be in continuous remembrance of the God or Supreme Soul. This will help you keep peace and stability of mind.
Before your continue your pranayama intensively, you should be quite aware of the diet that should support your sadhana. Pranayama should be done as per your capacity and not beyond it, else it may harm.
