I  am 36yr/5'11"/68kg. I have started doing basic pranayam (anulom-vilom, kapalbati) for total 15min a day for last month. I do it in the morning empty stomach after natural call.
I sometimes experience some slight heavyness/ pull on my facial muscles like in jaw or below lower lip. It is not painful, but it draws my attention. Also sometimes fluttering at few spots on the arm if I do a couple of sun-salutations.

1) Please educate me what are the common mistakes people do while doing pranayam that I should avoid ?
2) Which pranayam and asanaas help reduce muscle weakness ?

You can consider the following mistakes which are usually committed while practising pranayama and asanas:

1. Not using proper breathing technique: When practicing pranayama or asanas, it is important to use the correct breathing technique. This helps ensure that the body is receiving the full benefit of the exercise.

2. Overstretching: Stretching should be used to increase flexibility and range of motion, but pushing too far can lead to injury. Overstretching can strain the muscles and lead to soreness and even injury.

3. Not warming up: It is important to warm up the body before beginning any exercise. Warming up helps increase blood flow to the muscles and prevents injury.

4. Not cooling down: After exercise, it is important to cool down the body. This helps reduce lactic acid buildup and can help prevent muscle soreness.

5. Not resting: Rest is an important part of any exercise program. Not allowing the body to rest can lead to fatigue and injury.

6. Not using proper form: Proper form is essential for getting the most out of any exercise. Using incorrect form can lead to injury and decreased effectiveness.

7. Not listening to the body: It is important to listen to the body and not push too hard. If you experience pain or discomfort, it is best to stop and rest.
