I think, lots of practitioners have confusion about Anulom Vilom and Nadi Sodhan Pranayama. Some books and experts say that both are same and Nadi sodhan is an advanced version of Anulom Vilom. I want to know the opinions of your, please give your suggestions.

Sure, Mr. Chandra, There is difference of maintaining of purak (inhalation), rechak(Exhalation) and kumbhak (retention of breath). In ratio-based breathing, one can start with first 1:2 (purak:rechak) for one or two weeks and then continue with 1:2:2 (inhalation:retention:exhalation) for third week and fourth week which would be followed by 1:4:2.
