I am a patient of sinusitis and have developed polyps in my nasal passages, I have been advised Jala Neti and Sutra Neti. One of my nostrils is most of the times almost blocked and my other nostril is partially blocked. When i try to practice Jala Neti, water usually does not come out of other nostril. My nostrils (specially right nostril) is so much blocked i can not expel water out of the nose by trying Bhastrika (I was told that this is very important to dry out nose so that it does not result in wet nose and hence 'cold' feeling for half a day or so). Now the overall problem is that neither i am able to complete the kriya nor the partially performed (As the water does not come out of other nostril) steps are being done properly and i feel worse after performing the steps (as Bhastrika is also not getting performed due to blockage of nasal assages), Is there a way by which i can benefit from Jala Neti or should i stop performing Jala Neti and only start trying Sutra Neti?
