  1. Sit in any comfortable posture in gyana (jnana) mudra.
  2. Keep your head and back erect with closed eyes.
  3. Relax your body first.
  4. Inhale deeply through both the nostrils and raise your open hands and exhale forcefully while bringing your hands in fist position. Do not overstrain. Be in your own limit and capacity. Repeat 7-10 times. This is one rounds.
  5. Take rest. If capacity allows, do 3-5 rounds.
  6. This pranayama being hyperventilation technique should be done in consultation with qualified yoga therapist - for hypertensive patients, cardiac patients, patients with respiratory disorders, weak persons or patients with frozen shoulders.
