Any treatment in naturopathy for dengue?
by
In dengue after 3-4 days after infection, there is internal dehydration in the body. Therefore, you should only focus on rehydration in the body for every 15-20 minutes using 3/4th glass of fruit juice, lemon water, coconut water, salt+sugar water, vegetable soups, etc. Also check when the patient has gone for urination. If he/she has not gone for more than 5 hours, then it indicates dehydration and there should be immediate rehydration for every 15-20 minutes. In severe dehydration, one should be hospitalised for IV fluids.

One or two teaspoonful of juice of papaya leaves helps in treatment of dengue fever by helping in increasing the number of platelets. This should be in consultation with the qualified naturopath and your doctor.

This is good check list on dengue. One important thing in this treatment that one should never ignore is plenty of fluids which can save life.  Ensure that for every hour or half an hour, the patient has taken sufficient fluids by drinking plain water, juices, soups, lemon water, etc in any form. During dengue, there is internal dehydration that should be prevented by intake of sufficient fluids.
