Please explain what are the things that should be considered for immunity development in an easy way. No complicated knowledge, very easy way....

See Anuska, basically immunity is defined as having adequate biological defenses against disease or other potentially damaging foreign bodies. This defense system identifies and attacks viruses, bacteria and parasites, while distinguishing them from our own healthy tissues of the body. Today's is the time, when corona virus has spread globally, we need to boost our immunity. We need to understand and take care of the following simple things to improve our immunity in an easy way:

Simple & Easy Things to boost our Immunity

1. Diet

Before we understand the role of diet in improving our immunity, we should learn a little technicality of immunity. Technically, there is a system of immunity, wherein T helper cells recognize foreign intruders. These cells activates phagocytes and antibodies (immunoglobins) which are used to kill the virus, bacteria and parasites.  Could you imagine that these are produced in bulks of bulk to fight out the infections. How will they be created - where is the raw material. What is their raw materials. Obviously proteins, vitamins and minerals. Where can we meet this demand? Obviously from food. So, how should our food be ? It requires not much understanding to know that good quality food is responsible for our good immunity. Yes, but it needs to mention here that for abundance of raw materials - we should include a bowl of sprouts every day, a bowl of 2-3 mix fruits (in morning) and a bowl of 2-3 raw vegetables prior to lunch and dinner. I do not mention about carbohydrates and fats as they are already taken in by us in every meal.

2. Exercise

Before we understand how immunity is based on gentle movements of our body, let's know about lymph, an important channel of our body like blood. Lymph is the fluid that flows through the lymphatic system in our body, (just like circulatory system), a system composed of lymph vessels and intervening lymph nodes whose function is to return fluid from the tissues to the central circulation. Surprisingly, it does not have any pump like heart in the circulatory system. You know what the lymph does? Lymph contain infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body. These cells attack bacteria in the blood. But as mentioned earlier, this system does not have any pump. How would this have regular movement? If it does not have regular movement, how can we have better defense? So, only the physical exercise can help the lymph move forward and circulate throughout the body.

In this way, we can see that diet and exercise can improve your immunity. Only 2 things we need to focus on.

3. Relaxation & Meditation

The relation of Stress to Immunity. As stress increases, immunity decreases.

I have studied that immunity improves with the relaxation. It is directly proportional. That means if we are panicful, anxious or stress, our immunity is reduced. The more we are stressed, the more immunity system is compromised and weakened. Hence, relaxation is absolutely necessary to boost our immunity.

So, alongwith diet and exercise, we can also add progressive muscular relaxation or yoga nidra in our lifestyle to have good immunity. Imagery with guided instructions also help us build our immunity.

Contentment or satisfaction is the jewel of life and this gives the stability to your mind. Nobody can affect you at any point of time with these jewels. With these jewels, you can prevent psychosomatic illnesses which are more or less 90% related to the disturbances of the mind.

You can develop the contentment by creating habit of writing gratitude journal everyday for your past achievements, even if they are of very little importance. But keeping such journal works wonder and helps one to be free from many wrong patterns of jealousy, inferiority complex, irritation, etc.

At cellular level, it is the accumulation of toxins and malnutrition/ under nutrition that makes cells / tissues unhealthy. Unhealthy cells/ tissues are more prone to virus attacks or even bacterial attacks. Healthy cells have their own cellular mechanisms to make immune to virus attacks - lysosomes, the cell organelle can kill the virus, other cellular waste materials. Therefore, our shatkarmas (cleansing yogic actions as well as liver cleansing, kidney cleansing, acidity cleanse) and sattvic diets alongwith yogic exercises (asanas and pranayamas) and proper sleep (sleep is also a mechanism of the body to remove the metabolic wastes as well as organize the mind of day to day chores at our subsconscious level.) make our immunity stronger, enough to keep ourselves immune to acute as well as chronic disorders.
