The best method for curing heights phobia involves gradual desensitisation and / or relaxation techniques. This may involve hypnotherapy or psychotherapy and / or the following yoga relaxation techniques :
(i) Deep Relaxation Techniques - relaxing Part by Part of the body from big toes of the feet and moving your awareness to the head through all body parts and then relaxing the mind with autosuggestions for tackling heights phobia.
(ii) Yoga Nidra: This is effective method and should be learned under some qualified yoga practitioner.

(iv) During fear, you can silently and smoothly breath in ratio 1:2 corresponding to inhalation : exahalation (without strain) to tackle with your phobia; even you can practice such breathing exercise during normal time subject to the conditions that you are not suffering from any respiratory disorder or epilepsy or similar disorder.
