I have high blood pressure for the last 10 years and now I am interested in doing Pranayama especially kapalbhati please tell me if it is helpful for me can I do this kapalbhatti despite high blood pressure or can it harm me please clarify.

No doubt, kapalbhati being one of the shatkarmas has cleansing effect on the body and therefore would help one manage chronic disorders like asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. But if you have severe high blood pressure frequently, I would suggest you to do kapalbhati very slowly - the technique being to use abdominal muscles / abdomen to exhale slowly & actively and let inhalation be passive. Simultaneously, restrict your salt, sugar and fat as well as milk intake to manage high blood pressure. Do it in consultation with your doctor.
