There is no comparison of classical yoga text, Patanjali's Yoga Sutra with Hatha Text, Hatha Yoga Pradipika.

Yoga Sutra (compiled in early century by Sage Patanjali) is a synthesis  of ashtanga yoga, kriya yoga, sankhya yoga consisting of 196 sutras, divided into 4 chapters - Samadhi Pada (where the self abides in itself countering various vrittis), Sadhana Pada (Practice/discipline of Kriya and Ashtanga Yoga), Vibhuti Pada (Samyam - comprising of Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi) and Kaivalaya Pada (Seer no longer disturbed by the vrittis /movement of the mind - liberation and reality of the Seer), whereas Hatha Yoga Pradipika, 15th century manual on hatha yoga, written by Svatmarama consists of 389 shlokas divided into 4 chapters on - Asanas, Pranayama, Mudras and Meditation & Samadhi.  You can download the comparison among all hatha/classicial yoga texts. If you want comparative analysis on some other points, please ask related question below.
