This tutorial is on how to practice navasana - boat posture.

  1. Lie down on the supine position (spine on ground) keeping the legs together and stretch the hands straight about the head region, i.e. from toes to head. The entire body in a straight line. Palms facing the ceiling.. This is starting position of all asanas in supine position
  2. Partially inhaling, raise the both legs 45 degree level.
  3. Inhale completely slowly in your body upward. Yours hand should be in your shoulder level.
  4. Exhale slowly bring the body downwards.
  5. Exhale completely slowly and bring the legs downards.

The practice of Navasana stretches the back muscles of vertebrae and keep them healthy. By this practice, abdominal muscles are also stretched.
