This tutorial teaches how to pranava pranayama. This is also called Naada Anusanadhana Pranayama.

Nada means sound. Anu sandhana meaning feeling the vibrations. By this pranayama, we create the sound 'A' Akara, 'U' Ukara, 'M' Mkara and combination of the three sounds A, U and M and feel the vibration in respected area.

  1. Sit in Padmasana or any comfortable sitting position. Ensure that the back should be straight.
  2. Inhale deeply. Bring your abdomen bulge up.
  3. When you exhale, create the sound 'A' and feel the vibration in abdomen area. Repeat in 3 to 5 times.
  4. Then Inhale deeply.
  5. When you exhale, create the sound 'U' and feel the vibration in chest area. Repeat 3 to 5 times.
  6. Then inhale deeply.
  7. When you exhale, create the sound 'M', feel the vibration in head region. Repeat 3 to 5 times.
  8. Then combination of  AUM, inhale deeply create the sound AUM. Feel the vibration middle in upper part of the body. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

This practice calms down the mind by removing the mental anxiety and tension. This also activates the nervous sytem.
